Abderrahmane Ajja, a 24-year-old photographer and cinematographer, graduated with a degree in Image from ESAV Marrakech in 2023, where he developed skills in filmmaking, photography, and visual storytelling. Passionate about the power of visual narrative and its social impact, he explores urban and cultural dynamics through his work.
In 2023, he won the Grand Prix Face à la Mer, which gave him the opportunity to attend the Transmission photojournalism training in France. As part of this program, he took part in a group exhibition at the Visa pour l’Image festival.
Since February 2024, he has been a member of the Hans Lucas collective, where he collaborates with media outlets and institutions while asserting his photographic identity.
His approach is based on a meticulous aesthetic and a keen attention to detail, aiming to capture the memory of places and people while shedding light on social changes and intimate narratives.
Based in Marrakech, he works on assignments and personal projects, combining aesthetic rigor and narrative commitment to produce authentic and impactful images.
