Temple Road

Josefine Rauch

2023 – Ongoing — Frankfurt, Germany

About this series

In the outskirts of Frankfurt, in the midst of an industrial landscape, lies a remote enclave that undergoes a transformation every Sunday. The area witnesses a bustling workforce during the week, but a different energy exists on Sundays. Within the confines of industrial warehouses, diverse faith communities seek spiritual solace in an unlikely setting. The plain halls come alive and take on a new meaning behind closed doors, unnoticed by the rest of the city.
Temple Roadwill be exhibited at Bethanien/Kreuzberg, Studio 1 (Berlin, Germany) from March 7- 10, 2024 (group show and fnal project presentaton of the one-year seminar at Ostkreuz School of photography tutored by Tobias Kruse).
