About this series

This project explores sustainability, craftsmanship, and the cultural value of natural materials. It highlights the behind-the-scenes process of cultivating, spinning, weaving, and sewing natural fibers—focusing on the emotional and environmental impact of textile creation. The work reflects a deep respect for nature and the people involved in these traditions.
In contrast to today’s fast-paced, luxury-driven world, Linda chose a slower, more meaningful path. After studying textile and fashion design, she returned to her hometown near the Brdy Mountains, where she now lives a simple rural life with her sheep, garden, and small farm. Her lifestyle fully embraces environmentally responsible living.
With her design brand, Linda produces garments from wool sourced from Czech sheep, woven in the last traditional Czech weaving mill. Her collections are natural, renewable, and recyclable—entirely made in the Czech Republic. Most of the production takes place on her rural estate.
The project invites us to reflect on our relationship with nature and the true cost of clothing. By revealing the transformative value of traditional textile-making, it aims to inspire appreciation for sustainable design and local craftsmanship. It encourages a more conscious connection between humanity and the planet, aligning creative choices with ecological responsibility.
