About this series
In the boat’s window, an endless expanse of glistening water, enigmatic as its waves disappear into a steel sky dotted with thick clouds, opens up the possibility of adventure and unpredictability.
Towards the horizon, a narrow line of asphalt cuts through the desert, winding between vast, arid plains and silent hills.
In the background, an old hotel stands relict of a bygone era, an isolated refuge in the middle of nowhere that seems to have sprung up from thin air. Inside, the room is heavy with warmth and silence. A simple and timeworn décor fills the room, with half-closed curtains filtering a golden hue into the rooms, illuminating checkered tablecloths. Silence, disturbed only by the creak of wood and the tick of an old clock that doesn’t really tell time.
Sand and rock sculpted by time seem endless, with each corner revealing a variety of changing colors, dusty browns, brilliant ochres and long shadows.
The traveler’s solitude, facing this wild horizon of sand and oblivion, invites introspection while recalling the grandeur of slow, distant adventures laced with mystery and silence.
